Things to do

Below we have listed some of the  things to do in Costa Blanca. We also recommend visiting the official homepage of the Region of Valencia for more inspiration and suggestions on what to do. We have also written a document with suggestions for you to do, see here

Alicante

Alicante is the 11th biggest city in Spain with a population of 335,000. Besides exploring the town center and it's shopping, don't miss the old town ("El Barrio") with it's sloping streets filled with shops, restaurant, bars & clubs. It's also hard to miss one of the largest medieval fortresses in Europe, Castillo de Santa Bárbara with fabulous views. Visit Calle San Fransisco - a family-friendly car free thoroughfare, decorated with mushrooms and slides for the kids to play on.

Benidorm

Benidormist.com is a superb site to find our more about what to do in Benidorm. With more than 3,000 hours of sunshine every year and the 6 km of beaches, Benidorm is one of the most popular choice of millions of holidaymakers every year. There are a lot of Cultural Sights and Landmarks, boat trips to close islands and theme parks including: Mundo Mar, Aqualandia Water Park, Terra Mitica Theme Park, and Terra Natura Animal Park

Villajoyosa

The house is located in Villajoyosa or La Vila Joios as it's known locally. Villajoyosa is known for having the whitest sandy beaches in the entire Costa Blanca. Villajoyosa is architecturally colourful and the long stretch of white sand is framed by a promenade of bars and restaurants mostly of a Spanish style.

Many people know Villajoyosa as the "Chocolate town", hometown for the chocolate brand Valor. Today you can visit the museum and the factory.
